How do I prepare?

Learn the passage by heart and be ready to tell it on video without prompts or reading  the page.

Because we are creating a single "work" (our epic telling) together, we feel we should use a single translation, for continuity's sake. So, please use one of the NRSV Bible translations.

As a general rule when learning the passage by heart, aim for 95% story content accuracy and 75% word accuracy. It’s not a competition to get all the words perfect!

You can find many inspiring examples of scripture telling in the Biblical Storytelling Library.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Epic Convener Catherine Stuart
