A Bible Study Through Biblical Telling

What a glorious set of readings we'll be encountering these next 6 weeks!

Mark the season of Lent with the practice of by-heart telling. Deepen your contemplation of the Word, inviting God into your study, and sharing your insights with the community.

Using a combination of contemplative practices, some insights from scholars, and our own experience, we will take a deep dive into the gospel readings for each week. Each of us will choose a text and work with it throughout the season, drawing connections with the reflections of others. We'll be invited to consider how the practice of learning and telling by heart influences the way we approach the scriptures, what questions arise for us from those texts that may not have, had we not been "by hearting", and what difference that makes to our telling.
