Holy Saturday Vigil

an online candle-light devotional journey centred on the words of
Psalm Twenty-two:
"Stories Told in the In-Between Time"

hosted by the Canada-India By-❤️ Guild

After the psalm is spoken, a teller will share a biblical story that is an echo of certain words - a glimpse of Jesus embodying the spirit of the words,
or an ancient biblical story he would have known and lived by.

All will be paced to allow for silence and prayer,
supported by contemplative instrumental music.

Presider: Rev Bev Brazier
Tellers: Susan Philip, John Wesselson, Leela Sudhakar,

Linnea Good, Andy Johnson, Pegi Ridout
Tech Support: Isaac Jonsson-Good

... and while this is not a musical performance, we would like you to know about our musical liturgist:

Ben Johnston-Urey's piano offerings have been described as “dream-like and crystalline". His compositions, appreciated for their beauty and emotional depth, are heard in concert halls and congregations around the world. Ben's recent works include The Liturgy of the Beloved, a groundbreaking non-dual, incarnational liturgical setting written for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, as well as commissioned pieces for the Brazil National Symphony Orchestra, the Calgary Wind Symphony, and others. www.johnston-urey.com.

We begin  at 9am pacific time (time calculator)
