Sharing the Bible with Children

Back by popular demand! Carole Danby brings a great suitcase full of creative ideas for introducing the Bible to children. This workshop is for those ready to think outside the box.
Participants will be invited to get involved with this interactive workshop exploring drama techniques like Number Stories, Liquid Pictures, Echo Mimes and Curtains Up, Curtains Down to break open scripture with children of all ages. Such props as Drama Bags, Holy Spirit Doves, Rainbows, Peace Roses, Rainsticks, prayers with actions and simple songs will also be demonstrated.

A sought-after workshop leader and teacher, Carole is a past Chair of the Network of Biblical Storytellers Australia. She is retired from her role in Children and Family Ministry with the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane and is the author of Getting to Know Jesus.
